BodyTech Arginine AKG for Nitric Oxide

BodyTech Arginine AKG for Nitric Oxide

This is a review of the product Arginine AKG 3000 Mg, manufactured by BodyTech, a company producing supplements for the sporting market. This product is claimed to provide both arginine alpha-ketoglutarate and nitric oxide precursor. The benefit of arginine AKG and nitric oxide lies in their helpful muscle-building effect found in these exercise and nutritional supplements.

Ingredients

Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, and glycerin. L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, which is non-essential amino acid, supports the nitric oxide production in the liver. L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, together with nitric oxide, may enhance muscle-building; in addition, L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate purports to enhance performance: one can exercise for longer, minimizing the pain of stiffness, while building lean body mass. L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate also helps to enhance nitric oxide production in blood vessels. This increases their size thereby enhancing the flow of blood. As result, muscles receive more blood, which supplies them with protein, and carbohydrates, as well as muscle-building hormones that assist in improving performance and recovery. Calcium (as di-calcium phosphate), on the other hand, is a binder, as well as a food additive. It is beneficial as support for blood calcium. Low calcium stores could lead to bone loss, and decreased activity of certain muscles. Conversely, taking supplementary calcium may result in certain side effects, such as a rash, or constipation.

The best times, according to the manufacturer of this dietary supplement, are mornings and half-an-hour before lunch. The manufacturer additionally recommends that consumers drink at least 64 ounces of water daily.

Arginine AKG 3000 Mg Review – Conclusion

This supplement seems promising for enhancing muscle mass. There are some benefits to highlight. Ingredients are known to build lean body mass and to enhance blood supply and oxygen to muscles to stimulate growth. Dosage instructions are clear, allowing  for  correct use of the product for optimal results. There are, however, some concerns with this product: 1) the lack of a manufacturer’s guarantee could imply that the product is not as effective as the manufacturer claims it to be, 2) there are no package deals with discounts offered which could make this product more cost-effective, and 3) some of the ingredients such as calcium (as dicalcium phosphate) could lead to side effects for some people.
