However, they do not provide the percentages of the essential oils used to the ratio of base oils, so it is unclear what the predominant ingredients are. Some alternative products we found after research use the likes of Aloe Vera which helps to soothe skin and aid in the healing of scarring and Vitamin C which helps to protect your skin from the effects of aging and helps to produce collagen. Vitamin C is also a potent antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals in the skin. From what we can tell, Absolute Essential Maternity Organic Stretchmark Oil doesn’t use Aloe Vera or Vitamin C in their product.

They do not specify an exact amount to use, so that would then be dependent on you the consumer. We have found this to be the same information across the board of mostly all stretch mark oils.
The only downfall of not offering a suggested amount may end up meaning that you might then over-use the product.

The website does not have a customer review section and so we cannot compare the likes of positive reviews to negative reviews and therefore cannot tell how effective the product is.
We found with other products of the same nature, they had great customer service options rather than just a simple email and live chat (that will have restrictions if you are messaging from the USA. You will find you have a limited amount of ‘in business’ hours due to the company being on New Zealand time).
