Mycota Athlete’s Foot Powder Review

In this review we will be looking at a product from Mycota called Athlete’s Foot Powder. This is a good product because it contains undecenoic acid and zinc undecenoate which both have antifungal and antibacterial properties to help treat and prevent athlete’s foot. According to the manufacturer this product is excellent for individuals who lead a busy lifestyle and often experience excessive sweating on their feet. It is also excellent for people who have trouble drying off all the excess moisture on their feet after swimming or a bath as this powder formulation soaks up all moisture on the feet.

Ingredients

  • Zinc undeconoate 20% w/w
  • Undecenoic acid 2% w/w.
  • Maize Starch
  • Light Kaolin (irradiated)
  • Perfume compound 1 1899 narom l
  • industrial methylated spirit.

At first glance we believed that this was quite a good combination of ingredients. They will effectively soak up any extra moisture that is present on your feet. However, there were a few things that we found concerning. There are quite a few ingredients included in the formula that have no purpose other than acting as fillers and binders. We were also alarmed by the significant number of artificial ingredients included in this product.

Dosage

The manufacturers of this product recommend that you wash and dry the affected area and apply at night and in the morning, particularly between the toes. They also recommend that you wear clean socks every day that have received a dusting of the foot powder. This product can also be used to prevent any further fungal infections. For this purpose the manufacturer recommends that you add a light dusting of this powder to your socks and shoes every day.

Price

You can find this product from an online store, which is affiliated with the manufacturer. One bottle of this foot powder sells for $5.21. Sadly, there are no special offers or discounts available for this product.

Guarantee

Sadly, we could not find any information on guarantees for this product. This indicates that the manufacturer is not entirely confident with their product. Companies who offer guarantees are sure that their products serve their intended use and are thus not afraid to refund people who are not entirely satisfied with their product.

Mycota Athlete’s Foot Powder Review – Conclusion

When we completed our review of this product we concluded that it was effective for relieving and preventing fungal infections that cause athlete’s foot. It contains excellent active ingredients and it is available for a reasonable price. However, there are a few things that we found concerning. There are quite a few ingredients that are unnecessary as they act as fillers and binders. Additionally, many of the ingredients are artificial. We were also shocked to learn that the manufacturer does not offer any guarantee for the people who buy this product. Finally, we were rather concerned about the lack of customer reviews available for this product. When we find a product without any customer reviews we really begin to doubt the effectiveness of the product.
