IBS Aid Review

Today we are reviewing a product called IBS Aid. This is a product formulated for the treatment of digestive disorders associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The primary therapeutic ingredient is a dietary source of concentrated nucleotides to facilitate digestion in the small intestine. The product is gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly. keep reading to learn if IBS Aid is right for you.

Ingredients

  • Yeast extracts
  • Maltodextrin
  • Inositol
  • Nucleotides & RNA from extracts of Saccharomyces cerevisiae

We were confused as to why the manufacturer chose these ingredients to put in this supplement. It is unclear how they are beneficial, and seem to be lacking many of the key ingredients found in similar products. The label has a warning that states if you are allergic to yeast, afflicted by Gout, have autoimmune disease, are an organ transplant recipient, or if you are pregnant or nursing, please contact your physician before taking this product.

Dosage

Consult with your doctor before taking this product. Take 1-2 capsules a day for a month with meals. The manufacturer does not specify the time of day that the capsules should be consumed.

Price

From the manufacturer’s site, a one month supply of 30 capsules costs $34.95. Shipping and handling is extra but not clear how much these charges add to the price. There are no discounts for first time buyers nor for bulk purchases.

Guarantee

If not satisfied, within 30 days, you can return the product to the manufacturer for a refund minus shipping and handling costs. This return policy does not include opened bottles of pills.

IBS Aid Review – Conclusion

There are a several things that we liked about IBS Aid. We were glad to see a 30 day return policy that enabled a consumer to return the product but only if unopened. We also had some negative comments. The manufacturer did not specify the recommended times of day for consumption. The price was quite high for a thirty day supply of pills, and beyond the purchase price you have to pay shipping and handling. These are extra charges but the website does not state how much it adds onto the price. There were no incentives for first-time buyers, nor for bulk buyers. There was no explanation of desired outcomes, or how long it would take to see those outcomes on the website. The return policy does not include shipping and handling so it’s not clear how much these will subtract from the eventual refund. The refund policy was not so helpful because it requires you to return the product within 30 days which is a very short time and secondly it doesn’t allow you to return opened bottles of pills. We checked on Amazon for product reviews and saw that there was not one single review of the product which was worrying and surprising. For these reasons we would recommend that you steer well clear of this product and look for one with a better return policy, with lots of reviews, and one from a non GMO facility ideally.
