This is a review of Jet-Lag Complex. It reduces symptoms associated with jet-lag such as weariness, irritability, and sleeplessness.
- Cocculus – Is used for drowsiness, muscle spasms, motion sickness, vomiting and nausea.
- Gelsemium sempervirens – Treats patients with anxiety related symptoms.
- Nux vomica – Treats menstrual problems, hemorrhoids, headaches, hangovers, flu, emotional stress, digestive problems, constipation, colds, back pain and allergies.
All of these ingredients are mixed in a water-ethanol-sucrose solution.
We do find that there are quite a few important ingredients lacking in this formula such as Ashwagandha, Magnesium, Chamomile, L-theanine, GABA, Calcium and L-ornithine. They reduce anxiety, promote healthy sleep patterns and regulate the sleep/wake cycle. These ingredients should, therefore, not be left out of jet-lag formulas.
We also found that jet-lag formulas which provide separate day and night time formulas are usually much more effective, as they give the body what it needs at different times of the day. They address the mental and physical stress often experienced during travel as well as regulate the sleep/wake cycle upon arrival. A good nighttime formula would, generally, aid sleep, promote restful sleep and regulate circadian rhythms.
Five drops should be placed in the mouth every hour until jet-lag has eased (with a maximum of 6 doses daily). If jet-lag symptoms have not been reduced by dose four, contact your healthcare practitioner.
One bottle which contains 120 doses can be bought for $28.50.
It was somewhat concerning that we could not find any information on a money-back guarantee. This might mean that there are some concerns about how effective the product is.
Jet-Lag Complex Review – Conclusion
After reviewing Jet-Lag Complex we found that it might reduce symptoms associated with jet-lag such as sleeplessness, irritability and weariness. We found it very positive that this formula contains only natural ingredients without added preservatives or additives. We did find, however, that there are a few ingredients missing such as GABA, L-ornithine, Calcium, L-theanine, Magnesium, Calcium and Ashwagandha. These ingredients should be included in jet-lag formulas as they regulate the sleep/wake cycle, promote healthy sleep patterns and reduce anxiety.
Also, this product does not provide a separate day and night time formula which gives the body what it needs at different times of the day. Products that offer both a day and nighttime formula are, therefore, often much more effective as they can reduce physical and mental stress during travel, regulate circadian rhythms and promote restful sleep. They can also regulate the sleep/wake cycle upon arrival and thereafter.
We found it quite concerning that the manufacturer doesn’t offer any kind of satisfaction guarantee. This might mean that they lack confidence in terms of how effective their products are.
We also couldn’t find any consumer reviews for this formula. This might be a major setback for potential clients – as many people prefer to read about other customers’ experiences before making a purchase.
