The most effective dosage of Parnate in patients is 30 mg per day. This is given in doses split up throughout the day. Improvements are usually seen within the first 48 hours but it may take up to 3 weeks. If no improvements are seen, the dose may be increased by 10 mg per day up to 60 mg in total.
